Tattoos have been with us for over 5,000 years and are finally being recognized as art. My brand of tattoo writing involves a hands-on approach that combines quotes from world-respected tattooists, walking tours of events, and an expert eye for new trends and unearthing hidden movements, for example, the graffiti/tattoo movement documented in Total Tattoo Issue 54.
