I am a writer and editor with more than two decades of experience creating compelling narratives for worldwide audiences. For many years, I worked as a culinary travel writer and editor, and I had the great pleasure of sharing my love of garden-fresh ingredients, which I developed growing up as part of the back-to-the-land movement in Downeast, Maine. When the pandemic struck, I transitioned to communications and grant writing and co-founded a nonprofit that works to improve access to fresh food for all. Something that always keeps me grounded in my work: the promise of a perfect strawberry each spring.
